    Ferndown All Cleaned Up

Beautiful pipe. I like a lot. I agree with the apple denomination. I own a Castello 23 wich looks very similar and they call it an apple. Cheers, J

    I'm back (and I'm a father).

Thank you very much for your kind words guys. I'm very happy as a new father and ejoying every second of it. @Nate, experimenting with sex change and crossdressing is an area in which I defer to members who have more experience in those aspects of life, like yourself. Cheers, J

    I'm back (and I'm a father).

It's been more than four months since I last posted. And it will be a few more months till I can begin to post again as often as I'd like to, but I wanted to check in and say hi. My first born, Simon, arrived in this world yesterday. Both him and my wife are fine and sleeping as I watch them...

    New Magnetic Pipe Racks (pics)

@Ejames, they are parts of and old combine harvester. I'm not sure which part, but I think the blade runs through the part which holds the vertical wooden rest for the stems. Sorry I didn't answer earlier. I didn't see your question. @Blackmouth, thank you very much! You made my day. Cheers, J

    New Commissioned Pipe

Thank you very much guys! So far I've only started to seriously break-in the darker one. It smoked very nice from the very beginning. The way he drills his pipes makes for a perfect, effortless smoke. As Sablebrush pointed out on another post, the draft hole meets the chamber at its very bottom...

    New Magnetic Pipe Racks (pics)

My experience has been that the ball bearing does not work well with oddly shaped or thick walled pipes. To attain the level of stability I desire I found that a 6-10 pds cylindrical magnet works perfect on the inside, coupled with a 20 pds magnet on the underside. Cheers, J

    New Commissioned Pipe

Pitchfork, his stem work is impeccable. The bits are extremely comfortable and very well designed. As you said, they are steeply tapered, and they are also quite wide laterally. So they are wide and thin, which I like a lot. Yes, check his work out. I think you will like what he does. Cheers, J

    New Commissioned Pipe

So I got my last Herreria Pipe a few days ago. This one completes a two pipe set. Both unfinished. I'm very happy with it. What do you think? Ezequiel Hereria is a a great artisan. Check his work out: http://www.pipasherreria.com/ https://www.facebook.com/pipas.herreria Cheers, J The Set...
