First bowl of the day is some 2011 Mcclelland's Old Dog, in the 1997 Nording Goose sandblast. Next is a good cigar, to celebrate the fact that this time tomorrow I'll be in Nicaragua at the AJ Fernandez Estate :col:

Thanks! The white band goes across the bottom like the chin of a goose, and they really got the shape spot on. Still smokes a tiny bit wet, but still in the process of breaking it in

    Pipers Who Play

I haven't left the house without a harmonica in my pocket for 12 years now, and I think I'm gettin' pretty good by practicing about an hour a day. Other than that I noodle on guitar, and I built a bass guitar some years ago. I also have the basics down for playing some blues licks on the piano.

Samuel Gawith Black XX Rope Review

Update: Trying this now, and it's burning slower but a bit hotter than when rubbed out. There's definitely more pepper and it tastes a bit more cigar-like, but other than that, there's not too much more flavor. I think I'll stick to rubbing it. Maybe next I'll try to just cut a plug and leave it...

Samuel Gawith Black XX Rope Review

I love the brown rope, and the higher nicotine is definitely a draw, but I just prefer the flavors of the black xx. The brown rope just doesnt have the same thick, oily flavor & texture

Samuel Gawith Black XX Rope Review

Just burned my second bowl of it, and again, just one relight and almost no dottle at the end, with no drying time at all. Not a whisper of bite or burn, and to my surprise, I even got a compliment on the room note. I don't usually care about room note, but it's always good to know that your...
