    Thank you guys for all the feedback. I think you are all right, I was probably on an empty stomach. I'll revisit it at a later date. Currently the flakes are in a mason jar, so they might as well stay there for a while. P.S. The Irish Flake I have, will slowly age in their sealed tin :)

    Thank you for your answer. I am actually only puffing, I am not inhaling the smoke. As I've read it in other places as well, it might have happened due to the fact that I didn't really have a proper meal, just some snacks while wathing a game. I'll try to avoid it next time.

    I've just ordered a 6 pack of Ball Mason Jar 8oz from Amazon. Hopefully they are better than what I have. I've assumed an 8oz jar is enough for a 50g tin tobacco.
