    Bowl sizes.......

    There are various bowl widths and depths on pipes ,is this simply to determine the length of time of your smoke ie more tobacco longer smoke or do the different sizes effect the quality and way your tobacco burns giving you different characteristics with your tobacco?

    Tobacco storage

    Im going to use kilner rubber sealed glass storage jars to store my tobacco when it arrives as advised on a previous post, the batches of tobacco that i receive in sealed plastic bags is it best keep in bag and store in the jars or empty into jar only?

    Newbie Ghosting question

    I have just ordered myself a selection of different tobaccos to try, can i use the same pipe to smoke them all or will ghosting occur , is there certain tobaccos that tend to ghost a pipe more than others, do use a different pipe for each tobacco? What do you do?

    Break to clean or not?

    Is it beast to pull your pipe apart to clean or leave as one piece? I would be inclined to keep in one piece then a strong permanent seal will form wouldn't it? constant pulling apart wouldn't that eventually wear the to pieces and lead to a loose joint? i haven't got the years of pipe smoking...
