Had no idea! Who retailed these gems?
I honestly don’t remember. SP had some. That’s the first one I’ve had. The first third was pretty good and then it kinda got a little lackluster after that. I think what I learned was I like a little cigar leaf in my pipe tobacco, but not a little pipe tobacco in my cigars.

Cheers 🍻

Saddened to find mold on 4 of my Joya Cuatro Cincos

Not sure how this happened... the little acrylic 20- count has been stable at about 63°F and 66RH

My best guess is that sometimes mold just happens...

It could also be limited air flow. In reviewing the data I see that I only opened this box once in December, once in November, but 4x in October. But then guys keep stuff in coolers, tupperware, Boveda bags with what I assume is very limited air exchange...

I dunno, we'll see. There are 2 other Joyas in there that seem unaffected, as well as a few cello-d randoms that seem unaffected

This acrylic box has a cedar tray. No signs of mold on the wood. I wiped the general area with Iso alcohol real liberally anyway, then let it air off for 20 minutes

*the Joyas were all "naked" no cello. Every cigar that got mold was a naked Joya. No cello-d cigars show signs of mold

At the end of the day if you've got stuff resting you might wanna check it
