Thanks Jim, great stuff! Good thing that we have some interviews of you too! Did you ever wrangle an interview from Steve Ditko?
I knew Steve, but we weren't close friends. There's no chance that he would agree to an interview with anyone. Robin Snyder published a lot of newsletters and books with rarely seen, and new at the time of publication stories. Ditko wrote a lot of essays about comics including his time on Spider-Man and Dr. Strange, and discussions about the creation of Spidey and the stories he wrote and drew. Try Google and see what you can find.

Steve's nephew Mark has stuff out there, too.

@JimInks would love to see you post some of your comic collection. I would imagine you have some pretty incredible pieces from over the years.
There's so much great stuff on the net already. I dunno what all I have that would be considered special, but it'd take a ton of work to find stuff and photograph. I'm really too lazy for that. I appreciate the thought, though.

Are you acquainted with this gentleman?

Note that the man pictured in the newspaper on the floor appears to be smoking a pipe!

I spent a little time with Crumb when he was at a gallery showing of his work. We both enjoyed the chat. I asked him to be a guest at one of my comic book conventions. He agreed to come, but about three months later, he had to back out because he and his wife decided to move to France. It sure would have been a big deal had he been able to come because Crumb didn't do many comic conventions.

If you can stand watching for a couple hours, here's another one. You'll get plenty of pipe smoking, too.

And here's an audio interview from 2006.

I've always been meaning to ask, did you ever cross paths with Dennis O'Neill?
