The other day I was enjoying a bowl of Match Field and Stream. It is one of my favorite Codger and Match blends, which I have an abundant supply. I sat there and thought "Do I really have enough of this stuff." If I die at 135, I have enough of this stuff, but I went online to SP to see if there was any left. Sell my clothes I'm going to heaven, they still had some, so I bought another pound. I needed another pound of tobacco like I need birds flying out my ass, but nevertheless, another pound of Field and Stream will be coming my way. Do I regret the purchase? -Hell, no. These wonderful Match blends will never be seen again. I'm glad that I also have plenty of Flying Dutchman, Revelation and V.I.P. to do me to my last days.

I'm not one to stray from my few favorite blends. So the few I like, I buy more than I need.

I know you like the Codger blends like I do. Have you tried any of the Milan blends yet. I think you would enjoy Milan's "our" Prince Albert and Milan's "our" Carter Hall. I think you would really like them. They are better than the original and much better than the current concoctions.

I remember you suggesting them in the past. I've been meaning to try their blends.

Thanks for the reminder!

I did something similar with Balkan Sobranie match. Happened to catch a last batch in stock and bought another pound. I already have way more tobacco than I’ll ever smoke, but that doesn’t mean I have the EXACT tobacco I want to smoke, in the quantities that make me feel relaxed about it.

I also just tried C&D’s Super Balkan for the first time yesterday and really loved it. Trying to remind myself to wait a while and see how I feel later before I run and buy a pound of it.

While not on the scale you enjoy I am doing the exact same thing for the exact same reason.
