I am not a 'filter type of guy,' but I recently found out about the Nording Keystones and am a convert. My initial trial was a Peterson 221 which has a gurgle to it. Cured it and made it quite enjoyable!Mine did as well until (and this may have nothing to do with your experience) I realized I was treating the large chamber as kind of an excuse for thinking I had more margin for error and was a bit casual in drying and “packing”. A few Nording keystone chips I’ve found also help with certain chamber shapes.

What pipe might that be?What’s this “Peterson” I keep reading about, OMG, the Italians have corrupted me after one pipe.
Lovely pipe. Have often been tempted by Italian pipes while window shopping online. But, except for a few Savinellis and a few obscure brands and no names, own very few Italians.
It's like Castello but better.
