Me too. Hearing a French men say that makes my heart swell and I swear I can hear an Eagle right now.
Try every single blend you like in them. Sometimes they work a particular magic. I for one think English blends are great in a cob.

I have a couple of Mark Twains - smoking one right now, as a matter of fact. I am very fond of burleys in cobs.
I smoke everything in my current cob. Enjoying an aro in one now.

I have both but prefer the Washington as it has a smoother, double filled finish like your Twain. On your next MM order, I suspect that there will be another, cobs are addictive, you might want to buy a few of the Danish bits. I think they are more comfortable than the stock bits, and they hold up well. Also, they are a little more stylish, and come in black, green, and amber color. I put an amber Danish bit on my Mark Twain. I think it is worth trying at a few dollars a piece just in case you prefer them. (See how easy it is for me to help others spend their money

Ha, I’m a French hillbilly, technically.
My people sailed from France to Canada in the 1600’s, then moved to Maine from Canada in the early 1900’s. I grew up in the woods of Western Maine. Maybe that’s not hillbilly, but it’s good ol’ boy for sure. Good luck on your move to Indiana.
