Relaxing after a wonderful eight tacos dinner with a few freshly made oatmeal raisin cookies for dessert. I'm just finishing this bowl of year 2018 Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a straight smooth dark brown 1950s Comoy’s Deluxe apple military mount with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. It's too humid for coffee due to the thunderstorms. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Abner the Eager went out right before dinner.

The Chacom RC is stellar. I'm now eyeing their RC Dublin but don't have the room on my pipe rack...yet...🤔
That's a beautiful pipe. I'm partial to black sandblast, but sometimes the website pictures don't give a good view of pipes with a contrasting stem. Is that a coffee stem?

Anyone else out there struggle deciding which  children pipes to bring on a vacation? We leave for Myrtle Beach on Friday and I'm having trouble. Took way too many with me on our cruise in January so I'm limiting myself to 5 in the suitcase and 1 as an 'on me' pipe. Driving, not flying so don't freak out with the whole 'in the suitcase' thing, need to get a dedicated pipe bag before we fly late-May.

Well if you’re in Surfside you can’t smoke on the Beach which is why I frequent Pawley’s Island the most.
Well that and the lack of people 😂Myrtle is generally smoke friendly though and a nose warmer with a wind cap comes in pretty handy when out and about or on a Golf Course. Overall packing though I’m pretty heavy on bringing multiple blends and pipes for the patio.
Patio at the condo will be main location. Planning an afternoon or two at Low Country for indoor puffing and souvenir shopping.
When traveling with pipes I treat it like underwear, one per day plus an extra.
I like this logic. Last trip I had 12 pipes for 7 days. Bedside table in the cabin on the ship was exploding with pipe stuff 🤣

If you're referring to the Cannonball and Grapeshot, they're both midnight blast with coffee stems. I got the Cannonball in-person at Briarworks and my kiddos (wife assisted) gifted me the matching Grapeshot last Christmas.

On it, thanks!

Near the first third of this bowl of year 2020 D&R VIP in a 2004 smooth long shank Trever Talbot Ligne Bretagne Faite en Bretagne 4/3 lumberman with a tapered black vulcanite stem. The rain has slowed to a sprinkle. I brought Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave in to eat. Tomato jumped on my lap for attention afterward, and then wanted out. Daisy's laying on the floor. When I let Tomato out, I saw Abner the Eager on the doormat and Harry the Hairy came running. I had to block the door to keep Harry out to avoid conflict. He's always sad when I do that. Now that Abner's on top of my chair, I'll bring Harry in to eat.

Enjoyed two egg, ham and cheddar cheese open face sandwiches, and am near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2002 smooth top, black sandblasted quarter bend military mount Karl Erik Ekstravagant horn with a horn insert in the ferrule and black acrylic stem. Hate to think about what I'll weigh tomorrow afternoon. Abner the Eager went out, and Harry the Hairy wanted attention after he ate. Then, he wanted out. Daisy the Ferla Princess is laying by my feet. I'm watching the replay of the Orioles-Yankees game.
