I was at my local Target today and came some sunglass holders on clearance. They were in what I call the "dollar section." It's the section right when you walk in the door instead has items for $1, $3 or $5.

Eyeballing them, they looked like they would be a great way to store extra pipes.

Bought four of them, for $2.50 a piece. Will update with the results.

IIRC, @TheIronMonkey also uses sunglasses cases for organizing pipes. 👍

I do. I recently had to move a bunch of stuff for new electricians to complete the work started by an electrician that went out of business during the pandemic. I took the opportunity to reorganize some of my Italian, French, and American pipes back in February. The sunglasses cases work well for smaller pipes. The cases are easy to close up and move or store, or keep open for display. I like them quite a bit.

Looks like a great way to store and display your pipes. I didn’t know sunglasses cases were a thing. I guess some people collect pipes, and some collect sunglasses 😎
