Opened a tin of SG Squadron Leader and transfered it in a jar. I got this tin together with some others, a few years back, from an older pipe friend who wanted to reduce his cellar. There is a paper label on the back according to which, it was bought in Bilbao, Spain, in 2010, so it has some age on it.
I have entered the "Falcon phase" in my rotation and I have filled the first one with the SL, it's so good!
Ah, Her Majesty, Queen Latakia!
Half way through this bowl of Sam Gawith Burnt Ends in a 2014 Savinelli Gaius smooth brown slight bend 320KS author with a black acrylic military mount ferrule and tapered stem.
Going to have Blatter Reserve in a Blatter & Blatter “Lovat”—Patrick Blatter, the pipemaker, referred to it as a Lovat when I selected it at the shop; it has no saddle bit stem; the shank is round, so it's not a Canadian, but, it was literally made in Canada—a Liverpool might be most accurate, but, I choose to defer to its creator out of respect.
Not far from finishing this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Have been working on a review of SG Burnt Ends.
Smoking some nightcap in a Ropp Algerian paneled billiard. There’s more sap on the back panel as evident by the gradual darkening.
And yup, lots of lines.
