Currently smoking a bowl of Samuel Gawith - Black XX from 2016 in my Peterson bent billiard meerschaum. I was hoping with age I would taste better, but still don't really care for it. Maybe it needs a few more years. LOL

2/3 through a really tasty bowl of 2:1 fine Va flake shake/1792 mix set atop a “screen” of MacB No1 ready rubbed to keep shake from clogging the works.
Smoking awesome in a Lee 3 star (gen2) medium saddle stem pear.

I’m not a burlephile, haven’t found one I like but I don’t mind it as a minor player in blends.

Yeah I couldn't recall you smoking/ posting any Burleys.

The 5 Bros is cheap, dry, and when used as a plug/screen it will sort of absorb flavors (somewhat, more than other tobaccos) from whatever you have on top of it.
