Starting to Get Obsessed
Been spending the last couple of months with Virginia (-based) blends: HH Old Dark Fired, Telegraph Hill, Union Square, The Virginia Cream.

Union Square is my usual morning smoke and goes pretty well with some black coffee. Telegraph Hill is OK; the perique is peppery and I am waiting to see if it mellows some and develops the plummy flavor note. I have found that I prefer Virginia with dark fired Kentucky (HH Old Dark Fired) more than the VaPer counterpart.

A major discovery is that I prefer a Virginia blend with both perique and DFK - The Virginia Cream (an aromatic! The booze/vanilla topping may have something to do with it.) Next step is to try a Virginia/perique/DFK blend without a topping . . . Any suggestions?
