Looks a little bit like an early Castello, but I haven't seen one with a diamond on the shank extension rather than the stem.

Thanks he is the founder of the transaction analysis psychotherapy. I m studying his method. As I found he is a pipe smoker I m interested.
I can read French but there is no real info in it.
I asked the university of California but they did not understand my question:D well understandable if you are not a pipe smoker :D

Not enough detail to identify the brand. However, from the photos on that link it looks like he only owned one pipe. Not cool !

Some sort of straight billiard. Probably popular type at the time, or he had no taste whatsoever. Than again one pipe is as good as the next one.

That was my thought as well, but the letters on the mount look sort of like a Medico Ever-Dri pipe.

Archival photos show him with at least four different pipes. A straight billiard, a petite straight apple, a stright dublin, and the mount stemmed pipe with a forward canted bowl.

I can't speak to the issue of manufacturers.

Hard to tell from these photos, and since the pipes are traditional and conventional. It could be a Canadian pipe, since he was born in Montreal, Blatter and Blatter or Brigham.
