Just had some Old Joe Krantz in a Marxman Super Briar. Really enjoyed it! The Super Briar has a very open draw and just smokes like a dream!

It’s nice to hear that the super briar is working out.

Good Sunday morning all. Up early yesterday and today despite no footie as the English Premier League is on hiatus. Yesterday was for VaPers (AJ's Vaper/Sutliff 1849) and today is Burley Day with HH Burley Flake/Peterson's Irish Flake on deck. I will probably also get a bowl or two of Solani 660 in.

Really like this pipe, the keel is a beautiful feature.

Up until a few weeks ago I had never looked closely at Marcos pipes.
While some of his pipes have normal drilling, many are drilled centrally. The draft hole is at the bottom center of the chamber - so the airway through the shank needs a little extra room. That leads to the angular shape in many of his straight pipes.
I gotta say, I've got two now, and they consistently smoke down to the bottom with nearly no dottle.
The airway is on the narrow side unfortunately - that's the one thing I'd change.
