Hello gentlemen, could anyone who knows something about Comoy’s pipes could tell me the meaning of the additional stamping on the rear end of the shank *7, I hope the photo I’ve attached is clear!

It's the size of the gasket at the end of the stinger.Originally a leather washer

FWIW, it's one of the better condenser systems with the gasket in place.

Unfortunately the gasket wasn’t there when I bought the pipe as an estate !

You can cut one from leather pretty easily
