Smoking Blend of the White Hand in my Ferryman Cob while watching the new LOTR
First smoke of September is Esoterica Scarborough (sample) in my Stefano Santambrogio Bent Rhodesian. Bird report: California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, House finch, California quail, Oak titmouse, White-breasted nuthatch, Mountain chickadee, Red-tailed hawk, Common raven, California towhee, and Mourning dove.
Getting through summer's last "f-you" here in the mountains. Mid 80s ain't too bad to deal with, and just for a couple more days. After that, it'll be more like this:

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, French cut pork chops and sugar snap peas dinner with a small scoop of double chocolate ice cream for dessert. I just passed the quarter mark on this bowl of year 2013 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Redburn in a Georg Jensen bent brandy.
Forgot pics but tonight it was Capstan Gold flake in my pool meer with a glass of A. De Fussigny Selection Cognac.

Enjoyed a tasty Cosmic Crisp apple (the stores here are out of golden delicious, durn it), and am almost finished smoking year 2021 KBV Your Welcome in a straight smooth dark brown 1930s (Comoy’s) Canadian Club 230 eight paneled billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Been working and listening to the Brewers-D-Backs game.
Speaking of apples, going to have Cornell & Diehl Pegasus in a Longchamp Pony Hair Leather Wrapped Apple.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Sam Gawith Squadron Leader in a straight post-1981 GBD Prehistoric 133 billiard with brass accents, the letter K stamped on the shank with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Love the pipe and especially the tabby.
