I’m ballin’ over here with paper plates and the occasional paper towel. I *have* thought about at least getting a leather tobacco tray for my pipe bag, though...

I use an old codger ceramic ashtray with a rainbow trout painted on it. I dry tobacco in it and cut the plugs I cannot otherwise rip or tear in it.

Dumb the crumbs into a jar or baggie to make random weird blend.

Load tobacco in pipe, put pipe in mouth, go about your business.

Why would you need your pipe on a tray? Where are we carrying these for pipe service?

But those trays do bring me back to lunch lady Friday Fried Fish Sandwich, Mac & Cheese, white bread roll, and a Push-Up.

I’ve seen those tray’s shown on Instagram and maybe Reddit. I think they look very nice, but probably wouldn’t splurge. I too normally use a paper plate or paper towel. I’d enjoy a small leather mat or small wooden block, even if I only really used them for vanity pictures carefully curated for positing.

While I like the idea and look, it's too expensive for me personally.
I am not saying that quality woodwork shouldn't come with a price tag but it's not worth it for me.

I'd rather spend the money on yet another Savinelli. There goes my resolve...
