I just finished this unusual Shape 35. It's referenced in two early catalogs, but I believe this is from the 1936 era. The shape disappears after catalogs in that era. I've owned the more common Shape 95 Churchwarden, which had the stinger. I found it awkward to smoke because of the length and draft was very tight. I'm curious as to how this one performs.

Full details are here:

I was looking at Hacker's Rare Smoke. Interestingly, there is a shape 35 Yacht and a shape 35L (long stem) Yacht. 1928, which I believe you would have the 4 digit shape number, 133336-1938.

Thanks Mike, I didn't think to check that book, which I have as well. I don't understand that last sentence, can you clarify?

Love the bowl shape on that one, but who doesn't? A little off-subject, but PC has a few new Kaywoodie Saxons on offer, nicely done blasts for about $44 bucks, for anyone developing a rotation. I bought one about a month ago and am pleased. Light weight, cool burning, and a looker at any price. With new Kaywoodie, you have to buy them when you can. They don't keep up with demand.
