  • A very pleasant show. The people you mentioned as famous pipe smokers were indeed that. John Ford well have he greatest director Hollywood ever seen. His “The Searchers” and “The Quiet Man” were in my mind the best John Wayne movies.
    Adam Sheehan was delightful as your guest tonight. He has taken a slightly unusual path to pipemaking. New carvers get up to speed so fast these days it’s nice to see someone taking his time with pipes. I wonder what his full time job is if he has OCD and can’t drive.
    The music selection didn’t do much for me. How they’d write a song with only 4 words in it?

  • Hello Brian;
    Found your podcast site a few months ago. Started listening from episode #1. I’m now up to #50. Skipped ahead to #241 just to hear how things have changed over the years. Love the site, will continue to listen and learn. If you are looking for future interviews, I think you should contact Steve Wall @ Smoke rings pipe store in Nanaimo British Columbia….. He is a wealth of information on pipes and tobacco. He has been in the pipe business for over 30 years and used to be the west coast rep for Brigham pipes in Canada. Very smart guy, well educated and well spoken. Would make a great interview. Keep up the great show !!!

  • I really enjoyed the conversation with Adam Sheehan. He was both interesting and amiable. Hope to see him at the Chicago Show. And you too, of course.
    I thought “Bubble-Gum” music had burst long ago. Let me just say, that was not my bowl of tobacco Otherwise, a fun show, as usual.
    Thanks
    Dino
