Mac Baren In Chicago     April 29th, 2009

By Bob Tate

Mac Baren Tobacco will be represented at the 2009 Chicago Pipe Show. In attendance will be Per Jensen, Frank Blews, Shawn Fleming, Kara Babinski, and Gene Thompson. They will be there talking to people and answering questions about Mac Baren tobaccos.

At the show, they will be introducing a new tobacco blend. The blend is HH Acadian Perique. It is Mac Baren’s first blend that contains Perique in about 7 years.macb-hh-acadian2

Also at the show, they will have available for purchase, the new individually numbered Limited Edition Mac Baren HH Mature Virginia and HH Vintage Syrian Tobacco Canisters. Each canister will contain 16oz of the respective tobacco blend. With each canister purchased, they will be giving away a free Mac Baren 3 pipe ashtray. Now that sounds like a great deal!macbaren-canister2

If you are attending the 2009 Chicago Show, be sure to drop by the Mac Baren booth. Talk to the guys and gals from their company, check out the new Acadian blend, and try to score one of those canister and ashtray deals!

Cool! Let us know if you get any Acadian or a canister deal.

I’m drooling at just the thought of it!

Now there’s a sweet deal, canister and ashtray! I’d love it in Vintage Syrian style. Too bad I won’t be going overseas this year…

  5. Kevin said:

Where are you located OleFattGuy? I think this should be available in the US and Europe, and probably other countries too.

  6. python said:

I think that they were produced in limited quantities just for Chicago. They were a limited edition canister and each one was numbered, so I don’t think that we can even buy them in the US.

  7. Kevin said:

They were selling them in Chicago and they seemed to have some left on the last day. I do not know how many or what will become of them.

  8. python said:

I didn’t know they had some left. I am surprised that they didn’t sell out.
