mad Worst service ever experience in my life! Live in California all my life and I thought people there could be rude, but I have never in my life been responded to in such a manner of disgust. Man was rude from the minute we walked in.....stating if we didn't like his prices to leave and shope else where (he didn't have a clue why we were even talking about prices. He yelled two inches from my Mom's face after screaming (literally) to get out of his store because my son came in to tell me what kind of cigs he liked. My son is 20, but did not have an i.d. on him because we just moved from CA. to TN. and he lost it. I was sharing a pack w/ him until I got home, so I was buying the cigs from the get go, not my son....just curious what he preferred since I had a hold carton at home. The man went ballistic, called us every name in the book, was atleast 6.4 feet and litterally red faced screamed at us towering over us 1+ feet above. The man was either on some sort of Drugs or Steroids. I would never do business w/ Tabacco Barn again, just because of him. Totally un-called for!

I really wouldn't call this a proper pipe shop. They have a very few blends available. Mostly drugstore fair. They only had a few pipes. I saw a supposed Paycok Meer in the case and asked if they would guarantee that this was a solid meer and not compressed powdered meerschaum in an epoxy. The young lady behind the counter swore that it was indeed solid. I bought it based upon her statement. Got it home and it failed the water test. I examined it with a microscope and found it to indeed be powder. Very disappointing.
Perhaps there just isn't enough pipe clientele in the area for them to try and meet the demand. They weren't rude in my experience, but they did look past me and start working with another client that came in to look at their humidor.

Not a fan. I went into the store today and standing 6'04" myself, I had no trepidation concerning the first comment.
I was greeted when I entered the door, and proceeded to look at the estate pipes. None of these sparked my interest. All the while, I was being closely scrutinized by "the crew" who were sitting around smoking cigars. I have a severe "what are you looking at?" complex. Instant turnoff.
The only two brands they had in stock are Peterson and Nording...all others were "no names". Didn't feel like dropping $100 on a new smoker, so I had to leave. I'm saving my bread to go to Briar and Bean in Clarksville, TN.
