I'm 18 years old and I have always been interested in smoking pipes but just now got up the courage to try it out. I had done some research online and read guides for beginners in pipe smoking but honestly didn't know a whole lot about it. I went to this store and told one of the gentlemen at the counter that I was new to this and needed to be educated. He responded by saying that he loves doing this sort of thing and he told me more than I could have asked for. He helped me pick out my first pipe, tobacco, lighter, and everything I needed. He even taught me how to fill the bowl properly, light it,smoke it, and clean it. I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable first experience, especially after going in apprehensive about it. I HIGHLY recommended this store. Great selection and even better service!
This shop is the home base of the Greater Kansas City Pipe Club. If you want to run into some of its members they are usually in on Saturday from 10AM to 2PM or so. They have every type of pipe smoker from novice to 50 year veterans. The shop also offers excellent pipe restoration and repair services.
