FHB unfortunately it doesn’t. It just stuck as a name for tobaccos that where once widely available, usually at a drugstore. I buy most of my ”drugstore” blends at a discount tobacco store. Glad you like the prince. I always have a big can of it on hand.

I broke out some Half and Half I have had in a small tupperware container for about two weeks. It was alot better than straight out the pouch. It didn’t dry much but enough to make it IMHO much better.

FHB The only peach drugstore blend I’m aware of is Walgreens peach melba made by blenders gold. I’ve never tried it but it may be a cheap alternative to your recent blend. As far a ”English” type blends in the drugstore variety I would recommend any of the sail line if you can find [...]

I will start trying to write my reviews from a similar stand point. I have said bad things about a few blends but will try to veiw the blends I review from more of a smokers stand point and not just what I like. Love your review Bob, Keep up the good work.

Great article, I like CAO cigars and would like to see them produce a wider range of pipe tobacco. I would really be interested in trying some of the older blends if they brought them back.

I will definitely buy a tub of PA and see if I can tell a difference. It seem to me that any Borkum Riff I get is on the very, very dry side to where it crumbles. I don’t think I am going to buy any more.

I agree with highstump, I find myself doing this on occasion to soften a blend or to add better burning characteristics. I have been thing of trying some of C Ds Burley flakes, has anyone tried these yet?
