Here is a funny story about English Tobacco.
I always loved the smell of it, but every time I tried to smoke it (Latakia seemed to be the offender) I got terrible hiccups that lasted hours.

About 6 weeks ago, I was giving a friend about 8 tins of Dunhill, which were unopened and ranged from 6 to 9 yrs old. I was telling her how the latakia affected me.
She proceeded to open an Early Morning Pipe Tin, and the Tarry Aroma got the better of me and I tried a bowlful telling her that she would see hiccups come on.
To my surprise, I did not get hiccup attack.

I had already given her the tobacco and so I could not take it back.

I rushed home to order some on the internet. To my dismay Dunhill was no longer available.

I ordered S&G Squadron Leader and Skiff and it was love at first puff and no Hiccups.

I have now gone Latakia / Oriental crazy, thrown out all my Aromatic Rubbish, Enjoy my pipes more and can smoke more in a day, with out my tongue feeling like an neglected outhouse.

I live in the Caribbean, so all pipe and tobacco purchases are internet, shipped to Miami then shipped to Trinidad. I have to pay Duties & Taxes again.

But with my new found love, I have being buying S&G to cellar, I currently have about a years supply of S&G (SQ, Commonwealth, Skiff, Balkan Flake). I have depleted Payless Pipes stock in these.

I have also bought various (10 Tins) of McLelland and GL Pease to try. So far the only one I actually smoked was Frog Morton on the Bayou. SUPER STUFF

Not many people smoke pipes here, I only know about 4 people. They Think Captain Black is Good Stuff.
I am like a recently converted sinner, and trying to convert them and push English Baccy down their pipes.
