GH Rum Flake Pipe Tobacco

Referred to by John Gawith as the “Christmas Cake” of the tobacco line, Rum flake is a very rich, sweet and medium-to-full-flavored blend. Much of this is due to the high proportion of naturally sweet sun-cured tobacco. The addition of Virginias from Brazil and Zimbabwe add to the sweetness, while a large proportion of dark air-cured leaf and burley (30%) “fill out” the blend and provide a noticeable amount of strength. Flavors are provided with the addition of maple sugar and a bit of rum before the entire leaf is pressed, allowed to mature, and cut into flake form. 50 gram tin.
