Thank you, but what function do you click in the reply box to utilize the link? Also having trouble posting pictures from the web. Just get a small icon/box.

You don't need to use any function button. You just paste the link and the site takes care of the rest regarding YT videos.
For images, you need to use the IMG button, and make sure you post an image link - something like this:
http://pipesmagazine.com/wp-content/gallery/gina-roode-smoking-nording-freehand/gina-roode-smoking-nording-freehand-15.jpg
It starts with http:// and ends with .jpg or .gif
The above just rendered a link because I did not use the IMG key. When you use the IMG key and post that link into the dialog box, then the image will be displayed in the post.

After a recent unsuccessful attempt to do this, I searched for it on Google. This thread came up. Not sure if I did something wrong, or something changed, but this did NOT work for me.

Yeah, no problem with pics, it's embedding a video that I can't get to work.
