Finally, got the pic to work. This isn't my favorite Pete, but it's the one that got me back enjoying straight pipes again.

I don't have a camera at the present time (lost or ripped off, haven't determined which) but my favorite Peterson is my 999 Irish Whiskey. I use it mainly for Burley blends and it smokes superbly. If I could change one thing on it, it would be to put a fishtail bit on it.
My Favorite of all my pipes is a Jan Zeman Latitude 41 North Cape. Jan is from New Zealand and not as well known as some of the bigger names but he makes a superb pipe. I use mine for English mixtures and it thrives on smoking. Jan's pipes have a nice open draw that will pass a fluffy pipe cleaner. It is nice and light for clenching, which I do 90% of the time. The Latitude 41 series was his least expensive line (I paid less than $60 for mine) because the roughing in work was done by an outside contractor and Jan finished the pipes. Unfortunately I have heard Jan's source has raised their prices considerably and he is discontinuing the line because it will drive the price over $100. I will say this: I have had pipes that cost considerably more than $100 that didn't smoke as well as Jan's.

And a newly acquired, not in my possession yet, flame grain 68

I have a couple more, amongst which a pre-republic with a P-Lip, but these would be my favorite.

Woah, beautiful grain on the 68! That is exceptional for any manufacturer, let alone for a Pete. Also, never have seen a cumberland bit on a Pete, now I want one. Most all my Pete favorites are 80s and 999 with a few exceptions here and there. Now I have to find my camera.

2asprins: look for the harp series. They have that brown lucite swirl stem. Very nice. You can find them here and there. Or Peterson will send them special order to any of the site sponsors here.

Here's my Peterson Cara Smooth Bent Apple. This pipe smokes well. I enjoy the way it feels in my hand.
