My wife and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary yesterday. In celebration of that event I cracked a tin of Balkan Sobranie I've been holding now for over 2 years.

In celebration of that event my wife gave me a card in which was written: "Marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right and the other is the husband."

After 45 years I am qualified to attest to the accuracy of that statement.

I'm on my starter marriage of 30 years.

There are reasons why they are referred to as Boss or SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) - one is that they know where you sleep!

She looked like that at one time...

Thanks for all the congrats folks. My original intent was to share the wifely wisdom.

The card also included a second comment which reads, "A wedding ring is the smallest set of handcuffs made. Choose your prison mate well."

My wife really is my favoritest person in the whole world. But I know when she transforms into the dragon lady (please don't tell her I sometimes call her that) to find a large heavy rock and crawl under it.
