Nice restoration Al! I read the post in Reborn Pipes too, and as usual learned a little something new. I like reading what's on that site as I like to restore pipes from time to time, and it's full of great tips and ideas. Thanks for the post.

That's a grand example of the shape, solid but graceful, with a generous bowl. Yello-Bole briars have always been good pipes, even today.

This old soldier wasn't dead - much less terminal - but you shot it full of Botox and did a nip and tuck here and there.
