Once again, Ye Olde Forgotten Pipe Term is glad to bring the readers of PM Forums, yet another fine and forgotten term o' the pipe. Culled from the very source that gave us the term that started it all (that'd be Lunting), the Scottish Gallovidian Encyclopedia strikes again with this edition's word,
Blaw

Bla or Blah
n.

1. Blow; to puff anything. (the Scottish Gallovidian Encyclopedia, pg. 74)

adj. whiff
Usage: Blaw o' the Pipe - as in, 'a whiff or puff of the pipe'

Very good oklansas, thanks for that. Somehow that term takes on an even greater relevance here on the pipe forum. There's certainly a lot of blaw blaw blawing that goes on around here.

Ha, I like that.
To be honest, there really aren't that many forgotten and obsolete to find, and finding them is becoming a bit more of an exercise now, than it was at the start.
