Both of these guys have experienced a major fall from grace. If you HAD to be one of them, who would you be and why?

Tiger is still one of the top three golfers of all-time, with Nicklaus and Hogan; Lance Armstrong can ride a bicycle. Not really a tough choice.

pushing my love of cycling to the side, Tiger.
Lance has hurt an entire sport, is banned for life, lost all endorsements, thrown his best friends and team mates under the bus, devalued his own charity and the list goes on.

Tiger while not being a very nice fellow according to people in the know, is still a sport legend without ever cheating or destroying his sport. Not to mention he still plays and has all his endorsements.

You beat me to it! Another reason is Tiger didn't do steroids, which seriously mess up your body, and is probably why Lance had three types of cancer and lost a testicle.

To answer the question I'd say Tiger. He still has his career.

I honestly feel sorry for Lance. I know he was cheating but honestly doping in cycling is like speeding the highway, everyone does it to one degree or another. Lance was only doing what he needed to do to be good at his job. I know my opinion won't be popular but I think the sanctions against him went way to far. I mean everyone in the sport was doping and he was still the best. They'll have to go so far down the list of finishers to find someone clean that they might as well just give me the win!

They both exhibit disgusting moral levels, not to mention the ethics or lack thereof.
I'm not perfect, but I think I am a step above either one when it comes to either of those virtues. I am happy with being myself, although as Lawrence pointed out, I would not mind dealing with the potential tax problems.

    Neither.

Lance is out for cheating and helping others cheat to win then lying about it repeatedly.

Tiger's a loser for cheating on such a gorgeous spouse and family.

Two cheaters, but one is still considered a legitimate athelete and he got booty on the side to show for his lack of chaaracter. One gets all his accomplishments as good as wiped and is exposed as a cheater without even getting any.

I think the choice is clear.

Tiger has way more money and according to the rumors more fun.....

Both men have to live with their choices for the rest of their life. I'm glad that I'm neither one. At least my kids don't think I'm a dirt bag or a cheater.

My g/f and I were talking about this topic, about how regular joe's like to bag on certain celebs. Then we got to talking about Nickelback and how they're the Justin Bieber of rock bands. People love to bag on them and make fun of them. BUT.... there's not a single guy I know who WOULDNT trade places with Chad Kroger. Dude is a rock star, rich, travels the world, and has.... a hem... benefits.

I read today that Tiger wants his wife back and is offering her a $250,000,000 pre-nup to make it happen. The report is that she said she would consider it for around $350,000,000.

Seriously, a man or woman who cheats will ALMOST ALWAYS cheat again. I'm not talking about the man or woman who does it once, realizes how much of a mistake it was, confesses to their spouse and seeks their forgiveness, I am talking about serial cheaters like Mr. Woods. How many different women did he sleep with during his marriage? Around a dozen I think it was?

A Tiger does not change its stripes. He never seemed sorry that he did it; he only seemed sorry that he was caught IMHO.

But if she'd go back to him for $350,000,000... why would he want her to? That doesn't sound like love and forgiveness to me, that just sounds like greed.

But, of course, I could be wrong.

I'm so awesome, I make myself jealous of myself.

Would I rather be Tiger or Lance, if I HAD to be one? Would I rather screw up my life and family, or screw up my family and my life? It's like asking if I'd rather be dead or deceased, since I will HAVE to be one or the other. I haven't decided yet, it's a tough choice.

Since you have to die anyway, you might as well die from something you like.

I think tanless may have helped me decide this. Money and fame aside, I'd rather play golf then ride a bike. I understand Elin is considering the offer. Before we throw stones at her, lets remember she's also thinking of her children.

I can not in good conscience make this choice period. Both are morally bankrupt boys who have sold their soul to the devil for fame and fortune. That's not a choice that's a suicide pact because they will surely burn in hell. Like it or not these two con-men duped millions of people into supporting their nefarious lifestyles with this facade of good decent upstanding men. I believe whole heartedly in redemption and if they are truly sorry for their sins and make a new start but I don't believe these two are that type of human being. Like it or not millions of people looked up to them especially our kids. This goes to show you that famous people are the last people you should look up to. Karma's a bitch!!!

I would rather be Lance . He may be a cheater but at least he is not a sore loser . Over the years I have found Tigers out bursts of poor sportsmanship have made me lose respect for him . And what kind of dumbass fups a relationship with a Sweedish super model while getting his ass beat up with his own golf clubs .Winning .

In my opinion I would not be either of them. Although if I had to choose a sport I would rather do, it would be fishing.

Tiger cheated on his wife. Having him apologize publicly for something that really was between him and his wife was stupid to me. It's no one elses business. He's not the first person to cheat on a spouse and won't be the last.

Lance cheated on his "job". I feel bad for the guys who came in second place. They lost their chance for recognition, endoresments, and anything else that comes with winning.

Ya act like these guys have done something not common to humanity. One cheated on his wife how cliche is that? Thats common for people who's career has them traveling. Married folks cheating is not a foreign concept.
Pro sports and juicing go hand in hand. Just recently it was baseball player who were outed. Here is a news flash for ya, thats common too. So we make a big deal out of it when we have placed some one on a pedestal, and they fail us and our expectations. Like this football player with the fake girl friend. He let down a bunch of folks because he is human and failed for reasons we dont understand.
All of the folks that are being so hurt over this stuff should re evaluate their priorities. These matter are for those who have legal contracts with those guys. Not the so called fans. The fans should get a grip on reality, and not have such expectations of others. An expectation is prelude to a let down. These guys are just humans like every other jackass out there. They are gonna do dumb stuff. The greater the height the greater the fall.

I've been a bike geek all my life but I ride for fun. Pro cycling is a different world. I've watched some races but I couldn't care less about it really.

I guess I'd rather be Tiger. I think I could get used to the golf lifestyle pretty easy.
