Frank called me this afternoon, in the best mood he’s been in in over four month. He wanted to have me tell everyone that he walked for the first time since he was hospitalized in early October. He without extreme back pain, and walked 28 feet. He expects, if there are no setbacks, to go home by next Friday, just in time for his birthday. While there will be a lot of hard work once he gets home, had does have a live-in helth care worker to help Frank rebound. Frank is itching to get back online and visit the three forums he’s been involved with, and wants to thank everyone for their prayers and good thoughts.

I haven't got to talk to him yet, heck didn't know he was laid up, if he is like the rest of the guys on here I can't wait to see him on here.

If you can't pack it, light it, and smoke it then why do it. It's a dieing art that must be rekindled in all of us as fortold by our forefathers.

Best news of the day / last two weeks

"The fact is, squire, the moment a man takes to a pipe, he becomes a philosopher. It's the poor man's friend; it calms the mind, soothes the temper, and makes a man patient under difficulties. It has made more good men, good husbands, kind masters, indulgent fathers, than any other blessed thing on this universal earth."

I know he'll be happy to get back home...thanks for the update.

Marry the right person, this one decision will determine 90% of your happiness.

Does a culture based on seperation and competition, of scientific sophistication and mideval religion, offer happiness even as it ravishes the Earth that sustains it?

Great news! Let us know when he makes it home and what his address is, so we can get the "Welcome Home" packages sent out.
