Very exciting news indeed! The restored film will receive its American premiere at the San Francisco Film Festival this coming May.

I was exited to hear about the Gillette film as well, it is almost tempting to attempt a trip to the film festival in may.

I'll probably have to wait until it's on DVD. I can't imagine any fan of Sherlock Holmes who'd miss this one. It's such an incredible find.
