Has anybody here ever purchased whole-leaf tobacco? If so, what did you think?

I've taken flu-cured whole dried Virginia bright leaf, and made pressed flakes before at home with varrying degrees of success. Not having a press, I paced the tobacco between oak boards and parked a half ton pick up truck on top, for up to three weeks. I then aged the tobacco in sealed jars for one to three years. I stll smoke it. And it does get better with age.
