I can tell you what your list will end up being. This question has been asked over and over again, with the exception of the requirements your specific blends types.
So here's my prediction:
Sam Gawith's - Full Virginia Flake (Straight VA)
Frog Morton's - Cellar (Aromatic intro to English)
Peter Stokkobye's - Luxury Navy Flake (Virginia,Perique of VaPer)
Lane's - 1Q (Aromatic)
MacBaren's - Old Dark Fired.
The following list is my recommendation to you as a beginner.
McClelland's - Bulk 5100 "Red Cake" (Straight VA)
Peter Stokkobye's - Luxury Navy Flake (Virginia,Perique of VaPer)
Rattray's - Bagpiper's Dream (Aromatic) One I've found that actually tastes good.
C&D's - Epiphany (This one being an "American" English)
GL Pease's - Gaslight (English) My favorite blend.

I know its a repeated question , but tobacco isn't available in my country .

So when i have a chance to put my hands on some , i have to be sure with what im buying .

Your suggestions is a great help for me saving money and getting the good stuff .

If you are somewhere you can order Peter Stokkebye bulks, it may simplify things for you a bit. In my opinion, they make an at least adequate version of each genre of pipe tobacco.

In addition to the Frog Morton Series (Specifically Cellar) You should think about trying some of McClelland's Grand Oriental lines. Yenidje Highlander is one of my favorites. Also I don't know if you can get Heart & Home blends there but they make some great stuff like Blackhouse, White Knight, Fuseliers Ration and Magnum Opus.

Honorable mention would be John Cotton's Number 1. That was the first English blend I actually enjoyed. I highly recommend ordering a tin when it's available at P&C.

Bombay Court, Stokkebye's English Oriental and their Turkish 84, Old Dark fired. After that there are many liked blends.

VaPer- Escudo

If what you can get is limited, I would say anything Dunhill (since you have had access to at leat some of their blends) is going to be good quality. My favorites in the line are Durbar, Aperitif, London and Navy Rolls.

I'm going to do a variant, since you live across the pond. I'm not going to list blends that are by American blenders. Telling you that I love Arrowhead from Paul's Pipe Shop in Flint, Mi., is not going to benefit you.
So - with that in mind - in no particular order.

  1. Dunhill Standard - this is a classic English blend that doesn't get much respect on this forum. I'll take it over EMP, London, 965, or Nightcap any day.[/*]
  2. Peterson Old Dublin - my long time fave latakia blend[/*]
  3. Samuel Gawith Best Brown Flake - A wonderful Virginia flake[/*]
  4. Dunhill Flake - Another great Virginia flake of a different character than BBF[/*]
  5. MacBaren HH Latakia Flake - A newer offering; MacB's first venture with Cyprian latakia. Very good.[/*]
  6. MacBaren Mixture (Scottish Blend) - A classic that forces you to watch your smoking technique for greatest enjoyment.[/*]

Omar,if could you tell us where you will purchasing your tobacco from we could make recommendations based on the available inventory. I really can't give you a list because I mostly smoke Englishes and Balkans. If you can get any McClelland blends I would recommend British Woods or 5125 Coyote Classic, these are two of my faves.
