I think I dropped $400 on my Ardor. That's the most I've spent on a single pipe. I could have gotten an Ardor cheaper on SP's, but not the one I got. I love the one I found at my local B&M, so I snatched it up. It's been worth every penny and I use it for my Virginias. Not sure if I'll ever spend that much again on a "new" brand name pipe. Maybe for an artisan some day or for a nice Barling I've been searching for. Too often are the ones I like, the same as the ones everyone else likes, lol.

Careful, that's how I ended up with all of those yachtsmen!

Ha! To parafrase Tolkien: It's a dangerous business, checking an online pipe vendor.

Smoking is one of the leading causes of all statistics.

I have spent a fair chunk on a pipe. The most I ever paid was for a pristine Von Erck. I can see the value in that price range of pipes, but they are rare highlights to my collection, not the rule.

Picked up a beautiful Savinelli pot. 316ex Hercules. It’s smoking this Peretti Oriental 40 like a charm. Also love my 320. The most I’ve spent is about $80-$100. As someone I read said, pipes will be around, spend it on the leaf.

$190 Erik Nording "Oversized" freehand, and $180 Ben Wade "Giant".
Both great pipes, but my $12 ebay estate is still my all time favorite!

My limit is $25 (including shipping), but I did drop a bit more (under $30) for a figural meerschaum that caught my eye.

I spend around £200 on an estate Dunhill with a nice silver band and that's my limit. I also spent £20.00 on a grab bad of Cob Seconds and boy have they served me well so far. For anyone interested in a bargain look up James Barber online, they do a range of B pipes and I have rarely if ever come across such good smokers,

350 bucks, brand new, worst pipe I've ever owned. Total POS. It went in the trash. I buy older (and less expensive) estate pipes now.

I treat people the way they treat me. It's that simple.
