I've been using paragon and halcyon 2 but I'm running low so it's time to buy more. I was just curious what wax everyone uses and if theres something better?

Paragon, but I am more apt to apply a touch of mineral oil to the stummel when I apply it to the vulcanite. Especially to the rims if I've scrubbed them.

I've had good results with this:

I would not try carnauba wax without a buffing wheel. Nor would I spend the extra dough on Obsidian oil when food grade mineral oil does just as well.

it is a soft carnauba wax that I got from eBay. It was recommended by another forum member. I haven't tried it out on anything other than my smooth finished pipes, but the results have been pretty good considering I'm not using a buffer.
Looks like a Chinese version of a microcrystalline wax like Renaissance, Paragon, or Halcyon.
