I've recently discovered Ernest Farrar's orchestral works.
Here is his wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernest_Farrar
His life was cut short in WWI. He apparently has my luck, since he was killed in the last 60 days of the war despite enlisting in 1916 and joining the Grenadier Guards. This regiment was involved in some of the worst fighting in the war.
Here is one of his works....
Right now I'm at Buffalo Wild Wings and they're playing some classics The Doors Riders In The Storm
What you know bout Lordi?
Mocha Rocker Chick? Add that to the bucket list.

Zevon. This is very different from the studio cut but the guitar jam starting at 3:00 is amazing. RIP Warren.

"It's like, how much more black could this be? and the answer is none. None more black." - Nigel Tufnel, Spinal TapTo give my ears a rest from the metal, my iTunes has graciously selected "Summertime" by Big Brother and the Holding Company. Unfortunately, it's kind of depressing me since summer is almost over, but it's such a great tune. First few bars always gives me chills...

I really like Black Uhuru. Here's another with a cool rhythmic bass line. YouTube has most of their music, especially their two best albums, Red and Sinsemilla.
