What leather dye colors to use?

I have black by Feildings or whatever the brand is...the bottle is all covered up by a mishap with my dogs and a chew toy. I need to know a couple of the most common colors like "brown", "light brown", or whatever. Helpful pipe dying hints would also be much appreciated!
We should have a restoration section this stuff!!!!

I'm loving this - twice today/tonight I've put a question "into the universe" and both times it's appeared here within a couple of hours! Someone's smiling down on me.

We should have a restoration section this stuff!!!!

I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, and think it would be a fabulous idea, a whole section dedicated just to restoration or just a wee tart up & polish would be a fantastic resource for members & google searchers worldwide.
