Ice cold jagermeister is a fun one.

But real celebration, it's all about 12+ years aged single malt scotch

Any special occasion, it's a good single malt.

12+ years aged single malt scotch

Tried Talisker 10? That's a fine dram. One of my regulars.

Brandy, Scotch, Cognac, Baileys, a dry gin martini and a dry red wine are some of my favorites.

Ginger ale or bottled mineral water with a slice of lemon or lime. Coffee is always a good choice, too.

I go out with friends to celebrate which means I'm the usual "DD". at home when I want to relax its either 15yo highland park or Remy martin vsop. If its drink to get drunk its boilermakers. Fun stuff.

On the regular rotation would sit beers, wild turkey and cuba libre's

When we're in Alaska it would be Jim Beam, Because they make it in the big plastic bottles that survive shipping much better than glass.

If it's something special that I want to throw some money at I'd probably just buy 2 bottles of wild turkey ..........

I will celebrate with what I feel is appropriate.
But, usually very dry martinis, Wild Turkey 101, or Christian Brother's Brandy.

When I really want to celebrate, I get out my horn and pop a bottle of my reserve mead!

Depends on the occasion and the company. My wife and I, it's usually Jagermeister. Friends, it's usually beer. For something I am celebrating myself, mead. Wife don't like it and neither do my friends. So, I save it all to myself.

Any one of several good beers.

No, my name is spelled 'Luxury Yacht' but it's actually pronounced 'Throatwobbler Mangrove'.

Celebratory? I dunno if it counts but the "thank God the kids are in bed, now where is my sanity?" drink has been Smirnoff Fluffed lately.

Hmm, I'm pretty much considered a non-drinker but have been known to down a litre of Baileys.

And I do love to get a girlfriend to make Mulled Wine in winter, nothing like it, although our winter would be like your summer lmao.

Scotch, or a nice bottle of red wine.

Just a wee dram of a good single malt.

A Manhattan, made with Canadian Club and Martini Rosso, plus of course the maraschino cherry

3 or 4 of these though and I forget what I am supposed to be celebrating

My normal drink is the 10-12 yo single malt, so celebrations are normally bigger. When I got into grad school my friend and I opened the HP 25 we'd bought together. God, I cant wait for something awesome to happen to one of us again so we can have another glass!

    My favourite drinks are:

    Guinness

    Carlsberg Master Brew

Lagavulin single malt (just the standard 16 years)

A good strong Dry Martini Cocktail (this is what I prefer when I really want to celebrate something; for instance getting a new pipe).

Celebrating like partying or celebrating like commemorating? At home or outside?

My wild party drink is the Jagerbomb. At home, my drinks to mark an occasion are Tokaj Aszú, or Port Wine. This year I have two boxes of Tokaj Puttonyos Aszú, 2001 and Dow's Vintage Port, 2007 looking for an excuse to be drunk.
Outside, I would order a sherry; oloroso kind, preferably.

For me, scotch is a drink for a relaxed moment, and champagne an appetizer.

For me it is simply any grape flavored Vodka on the rocks with a side of Captain Bob's Blend. Pure and simple. That is the greatest pleasure in my life next to being with my wonderful wife with or without my pipe!

Usually single malt and a glass. For really special occasions or when I am feeling flippant, a shot of single malt in a champagne flute, fill the rest of the glass with champagne.
