The good baronsamedi wrapped us up for the month of August with 1000 posts. Not bad, but we've done better.

I'm finishing up a DGT'ed bowl of H&H Lakeland Brickle Fortissimo in my GBD Midnight bulldog.

Just finished a smoke of well aged near dry McClelland's Turkish ribbon in a Peterson Meerschaum. Meer & that tobacco are one of the best combos I know.

Not quite September here (another hour to go) but what the heck! Fell back to an old standby, Westminister in a Dunhil Amber Root bent Billiard to honor the blue moon.

BRW in a stanwell. I know this is a much maligned blend but I like it. Sweet but not too sweet, the earthy cavendish peeks through now and again. Burns so well.

This is pretty funny ... I'm really enjoying Jack's "Bargain Tobacco" I got added for free when I took advantage of Sterling Tobacco's "buy two (2 oz) bags and get one free" recently. I actually like this "bargain" better than all three of the 2 oz. bagged blends I got. Go figure.
