Villiger 1888 Mid Day in my Grabow Royal Duke with 50/50 toddy coffee & boiling water (this makes for a virtually acid-free/bitter-free cup of hot coffee).

This blend has been my go-to since I tried it and the more I'm introduced to other blends and tobacco types, the more I taste in this blend. Today I got virtually none of the flavors I got when I first started smoking it. This bowl seems very oriental forward today with lots of rich, spicy smoke. It burns well and I only needed a few relights toward the bottom. I think I may have another bowl later today...

By the eternal! There is a man whose form should be cast in deathless bronze and the statue placed in every college in the land. It is not book-learning young men need, nor instruction about this and that, but a stiffening of the vertebrae which will cause them to be loyal to a trust, to act promptly, concentrate their energies; do the thing - "carry a message to Garcia!" Fox's Dorisco Mixture and Gawith Hoggarth Top Black Cherry

Both are great in my opinion. Love the Perique in the Dorisco Mixture. And TBC is great in a Churchwarden while sitting on the porch in a rocker on a cool spring morning.
