    NYPC's Jack's Shanty in a clay w/side of Columbian coffee

    From the tin;
    Bestowed to our club by its founder, Sailorman Jack, his personal recipe
    is a rich and stout blend featuring sweet lemon and red Virginias with generous
    portions of fine Latakia and Perique for added spice and depth. Finished with
    shredded cigar leaf, it delivers unique flavor that will appeal to seasoned smokers.
    "Attention, Attention!" Savor a "New York State-of-Mind" with Jack's Shanty.

    Just got my order from 4noggins, so I am currently trying some Kendal Kentucky and Estorica Margate layered, and man is it great stuff. In a Mr.Brog Churchwarden #16.

    If at first you don't succeed, have another bowl.

    Tonight it is C&D's, Captain Bob's Pot O' Gold Mixture. A predominant Virginia Medley with just a touch of Plum, Rum and Maple flavoring. Not an aromatic. But, pleasing to you and those around you with a real tobacco flavor that won't quit. It's like smoking a Virginia Flake in a traditional cut. Available only from C&D by direct order. However, you can request it from your favorite etailer and they may get it for you. This is a relatively new blend so you will not find it online. I encourage you to request it from a C&D etailer/Dealer if you prefer not to order direct from C&D. The reviews are here: http://tobaccoreviews.com/blend_detail.cfm?ALPHA=C&TID=4062
    I'm smoking POG in the Bob Hayes Original Mod-Apple made for me.
    click on pic to enlarge:

    I'll be gone on a long weekend mini-vacation. See you all next week! Enjoy your favorite blends in your favorite pipes!
