    Half way through this bowl of D&R Raccoon’s Accent in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega with a black vulcanite stem.

    Just past the half way mark on this bowl of old Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. Simply Apple is my drink.

    Relaxing after a tasty spaghetti and meatballs lunch , and am part way through this bowl of year 2014 Saint James Flake in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Phone chatting about stuff.

    I took the varnish off from a straight Grabow Grand Duke group 3 biliard and sanded it down through the mesh pads to leave a wonderfully smooth, nicely grained, nut brown natural finish and am enjoying a crazy mix of picayune/PenHooker Green/and ole 97 latakia. Strangely good!

    Never did sleep, and am part way through this bowl of 1960s W.F. Monroe Cigar Co. Conway’s Private Blend Pipe Mixture in a black pebble finish straight 2003 Cavicchi C. Fatto A Mano lovat with a black acrylic saddle stem. Almost time for Mad Dog Russo. Speaking of dog, this blend greatly reminds me of Barking Dog.

    One year old Capstan Blue in a blasted Stanwell Trio 29.

    Truly a fantastic tobacco.
    Bread, dried fruit, sweet.
    No bite whatsoever.
    Nice room note as well,
    that disappear quite fast.

    Then the tin art.
    The tin smell.
    The orderly flakes.
    A real classic.

    LJ Peretti's British Blend in The Thing.

    Per tobaccoreviews notes: Peretti's "British." Blended first in 1922, this tobacco is the first commercially produced English mixture in the States.
