A couple of minutes away from smoking Wilke #44 in a smooth medium bend post-WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock Killarney 9BC with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Going to work now.

Good old reliable Chimney Smoke from Gatlinburlier, in a Comoy pebble grain Canadian [different one from the other one :)]. Pre-Cadogan, natch; I'll gladly put up with a notch in the bottom of the stem for my beloved 3-piece-C!

Enjoyed a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with hand cut fries, and am now smoking Watch City VaPer Test Sample Revised in a 2002 smooth medium bend Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite p-lip stem. A bottle of Mountain Dew made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Listening to Mad Dog Russo as I work.

Smoking a bowl of the 4th Generation Small Batch Aged Virginia (which was provided by Samuel Gawith). This is clearly aged, quality tobacco. Either a very rough ribbon cut or rubbed out, I'd say the latter. Perfect moisture level to pack and smoke. Loaded up my newest Rubio Dragon Scales Billiard and applied fire. The aged and refinement of the tobacco is obvious immediately. Kind of reminds me of a cross between aged FVF and BBF. I get a few hints of citrus sweetness out of this that I don't normally taste in FVF in particular. As the bowl burns down, the sweetness and slight spiciness increases. Relatively full bodied, definitely full flavored. This is about as close to the perfect Virginia as you're going to get. I wish they had enough of this aged tobacco to make multiple thousands of tins available at a half way decent price.

Took a short nap, and am a quarter of the way through bowl of a new to me Amphora Original (Brown) in a medium bend dark brown 2017 Don Warren 17 straight grain rough top with a multi-brown cumberland stem and ferrule in the military mount style. Dinner will interrupt this smoke, but so far, I'm having a great experience with this pipe.

Prince Albert in my MM Ozark Hardwood.

If I was to make a beer analogy, to me Prince Albert is like Heineken, or Guinness stout: not the best, most interesting or most flavorful beer, but they're reliable and pleasant enough.

Relaxing after a wonderful T-Bone steak and parmesan cheese rice dinner with a banana split for dessert. Now smoking Wilke #515 in a 1980s black sandblasted slight bend Savory’s Argyll 281 Cherrywood with a black vulcanite stem. Watching the Braves-Twins game.
