I have been reading books by Laurie King, about Mary Russell, Sherlock Holmes wife. They're an interesting take on Holmes as a married man with a wife many years younger than him. She's a good match for him, and the books deal with their adventures around the world in the early to mid 1920s. As far as I'm concerned, they are well written and interesting, but not suspenseful page turners. Holmes does plenty of smoking too. Just fun reads while smoking the pipe.
Yeah Duane, I'll have to read that one too, but I had no idea that a book was written on the making Black Frigate tobacco...
