    Who are some of the pipe makers out there with great blasts? Pictures are encouraged. I like the really jagged and rugged looking ones that still seem to show great lines:

    Needless to say, those are some breathtaking blasts. Maybe some of the members who actually craft sandblasted pipes can enlighten us, but it seems to me that these spectacular results emerge from carefully selected pieces of briar. You can't take most pieces and come out with these incredibly sculpted patterns that mirror the grain so elaborately. When you find these, they are priced accordingly, as with beautiful grain patterns on smooth pipes, and sometimes moreso. Most impressive.
