This thread is for show goers to post their pictures and those who didn't go to drool over.

I guess it's a bust, sorry. Can't figure it out and I don't feel like downloading them to my wife's laptop cause mine died. It'd download all 200 some odd pictures off this phone and take hours. Once again I say Kevin needs to get an app for this site.

I did get to upload some to my photo album on my account. You can check them out there. If anyone knows how to post pictures using safari on an iPhone 4 it'd be greatly appreciated. I just uploaded them to the album and tried copying the address and pasting it after clicking the IMG icon. For some reason they're not showing up. I'm not tech savvy lol.

Here's a shot of the showroom

Here's a show selfie. Smoking my Don Warren freehand I picked up last year.

Sorry it didn't rotate right, but they had a vintage tin of Bengal Slices. I think it was only $40. I'm kicking myself for not buying it and selling it on eBay for about five times that lol.

A nice display of some briar calabashes that Todd Johnson and Pete Provost are doing for Briarworks/Icarus.

Some absolutely stunning JT Cooke estates. If only I had hit it big at the casino and could have grabbed a few.

Again, I apologize for it not being rotated correctly. This jar of MacBaren Modern Virginia was full on Saturday morning and empty by early Sunday afternoon. It's a great VA. If you're a VA smoker I highly suggest picking some up.

I can't remember, it's all a blur lol.
They were at the far side of the room straight across from the entrance and the tables were with the Moretti ones in a U shape. If anyone else went and remembers.

This poker is smoking just like the freehand, a dream.
It's very well balanced. Has some nice sturdy walls, but isn't heavy at all. Clenches wonderfully. The draw on it is effortless. It's so good the pipe hasn't even really gotten warm much less hot.
If you're looking to get into artisan pipes, he's a great one to get started with. As you said his prices are so that someone working an average job can afford them.
He also has some interesting tampers as well. Antler as a pick/scraper and a bullet casing as the tamper.

Glad to see you supporting Don. I am in the Albuquerque Pipe Club with him and get to see his work pretty often. He makes some beautiful stuff and he is one of the nicest guys you could meet. The show looked awesome, hope to make it out next year.

The JT Cooke estates were at the Investment Grade Pipes table, owned by Justin Duval (I think). Pretty sure he had the largest bank of tables at the show.

Al - that pic shows just the right side of the room. Plus there's more to the left of the photographer. Several years ago there were over 100 tables - I'm sure there were more this year. And the tables aisles are narrower, compared to Richmond and Chicago. The LV show is a good deal bigger than CORPS, which is itself pretty sizable.

This was my first time attending a show, so I have nothing else with which to compare it. All I can say is that I had a terrific time! The Palace Station is a perfect location for this event. It's unabashedly old Las Vegas without the pretentiousness of the strip. The show had over 100 tables, which were loaded with enough variety to satisfy the pipe aficionados' interests.
Everyone was extremely cordial. Upon arrival I was invited up to Gary Schrier's to join the Guss brothers for a smoke and visit.

Gary is a nice guy with a fine sense of humor and a real passion for pipes and their history. I got to see a preview of his next release, a book about pipes and tobacco of the Civil War, otherwise know as the War Between the States, or the War of the Northern Aggression.
Got to meet and chat with Mike Butera

There were wondrous pieces to see, like this Sasieni 8 dot seven day set, a real one, not an assembly

When I saw this assortment of vintage tobacco I immediately thought of MLC and snapped these pics for him

I got to chat with my favorite American carver, Lee Von Erck

I picked up this barely smoked Rad Davis for a buck and a quarter,

And I also had a Barling throw down with graydawn

After the show closed, I met Brian Levine, Jon, Richard, and several other celebrants for a smoke out at the Paris, and watched the world pass by

It was altogether a super blast!
